We pride ourselves on providing education, networking and support to both start-ups and established micro and small business owners so that they can learn, grow and succeed in their businesses.

One of the biggest differences in owning your own business, as opposed to working for someone else, is the sense of pride you establish in building something of your own. As fellow micro business owners, we appreciate both the opportunities and the issues which face micro business owners and our mission is to assist, support and encourage as you build your business prosperity and grow your business.
We started in 2003 and was known as the "Home Based Business Club" then. On 8 February 2008, we changed the name to "Home Business Forum" (HBF). Over the years, memberships broadened to include micro business owners and those who are self employed, so HBF was renamed as the "Micro Business Forum" or MBF on 22 February 2013.

At Micro Business Forum we understand the importance of taking time away from the daily routine to work on our business rather than in the business. Our meetings, deeper learning workshops and coffee connects provide that opportunity. We use our events to provide support, networking and learning activities. Our aim is always to offer you opportunities to explore business ideas, learn from subject-matter experts and speakers, from worthwhile business alliances, share insights, build relationships and what’s more: have fun!

MBF is the only professional network set up to specifically support solopreneurs and micro business owners with less than 5 employees. It can be lonely sometimes to be the only one in your business, so joining MBF means you make friends with those who can support you in your business.
Some members work together as accountability buddies to make sure they do what they need to do to move their business forward.

Our membership fees are very affordable. It’s only $70/year to join MBF. Members pay only $30 to attend our meetings and deeper learning sessions.
