The Micro Business Forum (MBF) had our Annual General Meeting on 2 August 2019. A new committee was appointed and we announced grand plans that MBF is the home of Entrepreneurs providing education, support and networking opportunities to grow entrepreneurs in the Port Macquarie-Hastings District.
The Executive Team includes Barbara Smith from Roving Trainer as President, Veronica Lind from Vermilion Pinstripes Sales Marketing Communications as Vice President, Glenda Hamilton from Perfectly Organised as Treasurer, Christina Parkin from Get Simply Sorted as Secretary and Committee Members are Vicki Carnes from Victoria Costume Hire, Wendy Haynes from Writing for Keeps and Wendy Hee from Qi & Tonic.
MBF conducted a members survey recently and the findings concluded that members want deeper learning to enhance their entrepreneurship so as to grow their business. The new committee revealed plans that meet the needs of a large growing number of small businesses in the Port Macquarie-Hastings district. Some of these plans will include in addition to their 6 regular events, members-only deeper learning workshops to improve marketing, financial and technology skills plus social networking opportunities to allow MBF members and visitors the opportunity to connect and collaborate deeper with other businesses.
MBF is a professional and the friendliest business network in town who pride themselves on providing education, networking and support to both start-ups and established small-business owners so that they can learn, grow and succeed in their business.
