Micro Business Forum 20th Anniversary
We invited ex-presidents, ex-members, current members, guests and students to join us at Charles Sturt University on 15th November to celebrate Micro Business Forum's 20th Anniversary and everyone was blown away by Patrick Dale, award-winning Tween Entrepreneur of Sweet Tooth Marshmallows. We had a traditional Yum Seng to cheer the celebration and we were deliciously spoilt with the various flavoured marshmallows from Patrick!
We were thrilled to receive warm wishes from Member of Port Macquarie Leslie Williams who congratulated us on our journey of commitment, change and endeavour. We are certainly motivated by her letter to continue to enhance everyone's personal and professional growth through MBF's positive environment. Mayor Peta Pinson of Port Macquarie Hastings also gave us a big boost of morale with her congratulatory message!

MBF Appreciation
President of MBF Veronica Lind highlighted the good work of the committee both past and present, who have all been here to support the business community on a voluntary basis.
In particular, she highlighted those who have served as committee members for MANY years, making a huge positive impact on everyone.
She has been MBF's President since 2013 for an impressive duration of 7 years. Barbara's dedicated leadership and warmth has proven invaluable to both the members and the wider community of Port Macquarie Hastings.
Glenda is the linchpin of Micro Business Forum. She has been instrumental in ensuring the smooth and timely functioning of MBF. She has stepped into various roles since 2011 and addressed critical gaps, demonstrating her determination to see MBF grow.
Since 2003, Lyn's enduring belief and dedicated service in the mission of MBF has seen her evolve into an inspiring figure for fellow business entrepreneurs, and her solitary amplification of MBF's presence in the Port Macquarie-Hastings region has been exceptional.
Vicki Carnes
From 2011 to 2021, Vicki has consistently demonstrated a genuine passion for MBF. Her presence has brought a vibrant spark to MBF's events, and her invaluable contributions have significantly enhanced MBF’s spirit and success.
With a unique blend of strategic thinking and meticulous execution, Liz played a pivotal role in establishing the foundation of MBF's governance. Her contributions are instrumental in enabling MBF to consistently deliver professional services to small businesses in the Port Macquarie-Hastings region.

Combined Networks Christmas Party
Friday 1 Dec 6pm-9pm at Billabong Zoo Koala and Wildlife Park. Get tickets here.
Ticket Price: $55 (includes canapés, animal encounters, arrival drink). This event will be supporting Hastings Little Wishes which helps families in the Port Macquarie Hastings region including Port Macquarie, Wauchope, Lake Cathie, Laurieton and surrounds. Their funds are directed to families with children and teens up to seventeen years of age impacted by serious illness.
MBF hopes to put together a hamper for this event. Members can donate their products or services for this hamper together with their business card. Please email president@microbusinessforum.org.au if you wish to contribute to this hamper.
